The Willow Ridge Civic Association is organized for the mutual civic benefit of all living in the Willow Ridge Subdivision. Through its membership and organization, the Association promotes neighborliness through group activities and social events designed to foster community spirit. In addition, the Association is dedicated to the preservation of property values through awareness of the local environment and by working closely with various Town of Amherst agencies.
The Willow Ridge Subdivision is located in the northwest section of the Town of Amherst New York. East of Niagara Falls Boulevard and south of Ellicott Creek, the neighborhood is specifically defined as follows:
The Willow Ridge Subdivision defines its boundaries starting at the intersection of Willow Ridge Drive and Denrose Drive. The boundary extends North along Denrose Drive to South Ellicott Creek Road; East to the I-990 bike path; South to the I-990 Bike Path terminus at Willow Ridge Drive; South along Kaymar Drive to Edgewater Drive; West to Chestnut Ridge Road; North to Willow Ridge Drive; and, West to the Denrose Drive intersection.

Membership of the Willow Ridge Civic Association is comprised of approximately 950 families who reside in single family or duplex (two family) homes in the Willow Ridge Subdivision.
The business of this organization is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of six members together with four officers elected by the membership. The Board of Directors meets monthly in open session to conduct the business of the Association.
